The connected workflow
Install the connected plugin in ChatGPT to get started. Your website editor handles the final publishing step.
Choose one to eight JPG/JPEG images. Complete any scene edits or privacy blurring before upload.
Review proposed filenames, alt text, captions, and metadata. Approve the images you want processed.
Save optimized JPEGs, the matching website CSV, and a ZIP. Apply alt text and captions in your website editor.
After approval
Before uploading
One to eight JPG/JPEG files per job, each at most 10 MiB and 12 megapixels. Complete any HEIC/PNG conversion, scene editing, or privacy blurring beforehand. The workflow does not generate images, remove objects, or automatically blur private details.
Your review stays central
Review previews, filenames, alt text, captions, keywords, and embedded metadata. Approve all or selected images in the review panel. Changing a proposal requires fresh approval for that image.
The service targets 500–800 KB per finished JPEG; useful smaller images stay smaller. Approved downloads include individual JPEGs, website-image-metadata.csv, and a ZIP containing the same JPEGs and CSV. Select a file in the panel, then choose Save on its secure download page.
Apply the CSV’s alt text and captions in your website editor. Embedded metadata does not set the page’s HTML attributes. You remain responsible for image permissions, factual accuracy, privacy, and the final publishing decision. The plugin does not publish to websites or social accounts.
The connected plugin is now publicly released. The initial public release is free, with no purchases or paid subscriptions offered through the plugin. ChatGPT and other third-party services have their own access requirements. Customer sign-in for the public-directory build uses Auth0.
Active jobs expire 24 hours after creation. Keep your originals and download results you want to retain. Provider backups can retain copies after active-job deletion or expiry. Read Privacy for account, storage, and recovery details and Terms for use of the connected service.
